The Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office press service reported that the Kyiv Local Prosecutor’s Office № 1 had filed lawsuits to the Commercial Court of Kyiv with regard to overturn the decisions concerning the state lease registration of 6.5 hectares of land 95 million UAH value (3,4 million $) . It is located in the Academician Zabolotnyi street in the protected area of the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Folkways of Ukraine.
According to the report, in 2017 it was established that the agricultural company illegally had registered the right to use the land plots. Due to the fact that the land plots belong to communal property and the Kyiv City Council did not take a lease decision, the prosecutor’s office filed lawsuits to repeal the decision on the lease land plots state registration by a private entity.
Earlier, the capital’s prosecutor’s office had filed lawsuits to repeal the lease of more than 60 hectares of land worth 1.2 billion hryvna , located in the protected area of the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Folkways of Ukraine. The lawsuits are being pended in the Commercial Court of Kyiv.
The UA-Times agency has made several publications on the green zone destruction near National Museum of Folk Architecture and Folkways of Ukraine under the future building space.
As we pointed out , the land plot, that is currently the protection zone part of the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Folkways of Ukraine “Pyrohovo”, was planned to be built by the current tenant of the Agricultural and Farming Community Khotivskyi (hereinafter – Agrokombinat).
The previous one has already started the construction site building, but the public and the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office intervened. More detailed information about Pyrohovo building space situation you can read in the UA-Times material: Near Pyrohiv museum in Kyiv cut down forests to build a complex.
