Last two days in the east of Ukraine a calm situation has been established. According to the headquarters of the Operation of the Joint Forces (JFO) on the morning of January 22, the armed Groups of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire only three times.
“The enemy fired on our positions from 82 mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements, as well as grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and other small arms,” the press center of JFO reports.
Two attacks on our positions were recorded in the area of responsibility of the Vostok operational-tactical group, not far from the Krasnogorovka settlement — by small arms; near Vodyany – from grenade launchers of various systems and small arms.
One shelling at our positions opened near the village of Zaitsevo, which is in the area of responsibility of the operational-tactical group “North” , enemy used 82-mm mortars – 4 mines, an easel anti-tank grenade launcher – 3 shots, heavy machine guns and other small arms.
Yesterday, as a result of enemy shelling, there were no casualties among the JFO troops.
Recall, on January 20, as a result of shelling, one soldier of the JFO died, another was injured.
