The Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk wrote an official statement addressed to President Volodymyr Zelensky about his resignation from the post of head of Government. He announced this on his Facebook. In a statement, he explained the reasons for this decision.
“In recent days, all of you have witnessed events unfolding around networked files mounted from fragments of meeting records in the Government. Their content artificially creates the impression that I and my team do not respect the President, who is our political leader”, Honcharuk posted on Facebook.
“I took up this post to implement the program of the President. For me, Zelensky is a paragon of honesty and integrity. However, in order to take away any doubts about our respect and trust in the President, I wrote a letter of resignation and handed it” ,Honcharuk on Facebook.

Rumors about the possible resignation of Honcharuk and rotation government started at the end of last year. They discussed the replacement of the overwhelming majority of Cabinet members, including the Prime Minister himself, in particular. Although the prime minister said in one of interviews last month, that he sees no reason to dismiss members of the government.

If this is not an achievement, then I am a complete ignoramus in the economy, ” Honcharuk said.

According to UA-Times sources from “Servent of people” party, the majority of ministers can resignation also, besides the prime minister.
