The District Administrative Court of Kyiv filed a lawsuit to appeal the restriction on the movement of persons established by the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers.
The press center of Ukrainian judiciary reported that the plaintiff asks the court to invalidate Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine March 11, 2020 No. 211 “On preventing the spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 in Ukraine “.
The plaintiff did not like the part of the government decree regarding the ban of a group of more than two people in streets, from April 6 to April 24, 2020 and visit parks, squares, recreation areas and sports grounds, as well as be on the street without identification documents.
The plaintiff believes that Cabinet of Ministers appealed against the decision and established unlawful restrictions on his right to freedom of movement during the specified period.
Now the court is deciding whether to open an administrative proceeding.

According to decree of Ministers cabinate, on April 6, quarantine measures were strengthened in the country to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
